How We Work

We scaffold the venture building journey to generate momentum.

Venture building requires sustained commitment. While every venture is built different, we expect our involvement to span a period of 2-4 years. Together, we work towards a series of small wins that snowball into big ones.

We then exit gradually as build-mode successfully concludes and gives way to steady-state operations—recognising the different skillsets and strengths required as a venture matures over time.

At present, we operate remotely.

Deploy

We integrate into your team and develop a rhythm of working together while gaining observational context.

Plan

Together, we figure out what we need to focus on, where we want to be, and how we're going to get there.

Build

We work through the long list of tasks required to build, fix and connect the various pieces of the venture puzzle.

Systemise

We put in place the systems, processes and automations needed to support stable daily operations.

Exit

We jointly identify and ease in a new leader who can run operations and continue building on the work.

Support

We continue to provide monthly check-ins for the next 3 months at no cost, ensuring knowledge continuity.

Our approach focuses on the substance (such as strategy, operations, impact measurement, community, etc.) that creates the case for funding inflows. While we are not predominantly a fundraising mechanism, we work towards the same outcomes—an improved ability to resource your impact ambitions.
